About e-Grantz Scholarship
The e-Grantz Scholarship is an online portal by the Maharashtra Government to provide financial assistance to students from SC, ST, VJNT, OBC, SBC, and other backward categories. The scheme aims to promote education among economically weaker sections.

Available Scholarship Schemes
Post Matric Scholarship
For students pursuing education after 10th standard
Eligibility: Family income < ₹8 lakh
Pre Matric Scholarship
For students studying in 5th to 10th standard
Eligibility: Family income < ₹2.5 lakh
Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Scholarship
For meritorious students from backward classes
Eligibility: 75%+ marks in SSC/HSC
Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance
For students living in hostels
Amount: ₹425 per month
General Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of Maharashtra
- Must belong to SC, ST, VJNT, OBC, SBC, or other eligible categories
- Family income should not exceed scheme-specific limits (typically ₹2.5-8 lakh)
- Must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution
- Not availing any other similar scholarship
- Minimum attendance requirement (75% for most schemes)
Scholarship Benefits (2023-24)

Note: Amount varies based on caste category and course type. Girl students receive additional benefits.
Application Process
- Visit the official e-Grantz Portal
- Click on “New Registration” and select your scholarship scheme
- Fill in personal, academic, and bank details
- Upload scanned copies of required documents
- Submit the application and note the application ID
- Take printout of submitted application for verification
- Get documents verified at designated center (if required)
Required Documents:
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste Certificate (valid and latest)
- Caste Validity Certificate (for professional courses)
- Income Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Bank passbook (first page with IFSC)
- Previous year’s mark sheet
- Current year admission proof
- Fee receipt (if applicable)
- HSC/SSC leaving certificate
- Gap affidavit (if applicable)
