The Aikyashree Scholarship scheme was launched by the West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) to support students from minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis) who are economically disadvantaged but academically meritorious.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must belong to a minority community
- Family income less than ₹2.5 lakhs/year
- Studying in Class 11 to Post-Graduation
- Minimum 50% marks in previous exam
Scholarship Benefits
- Class 11-12: ₹1,000-1,500/month
- Graduation: ₹2,000-2,500/month
- Post-Graduation: ₹3,000/month
- Professional courses: Up to ₹5,000/month
