UPSC scholarship applications are processed through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) with the following steps:
- Registration on NSP portal
- Filling the application form
- Uploading required documents:

- Bank account details
- Verification by institution
- Final approval by UPSC
Frequently Asked Questions
Eligibility varies by scholarship but generally includes Indian citizenship, minimum academic marks (usually 75%+ in previous qualifying exam), and family income below specified limits (typically ₹5-8 lakhs annually). Some scholarships are specifically for SC/ST/OBC/Minority students.
