About NSP Scholarships

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a one-stop platform for various scholarships offered by the Government of India, State Governments, and Union Territories. It provides a common portal for the implementation of multiple scholarship schemes.

Important: All applications must be submitted through the official NSP portal. Beware of fake websites claiming to offer NSP services.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students
Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment
Eligibility: SC students with family income below ₹2.5 lakh
Amount: Full tuition fees + maintenance allowance
Application Period: Usually August to October

Covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance (₹230-₹1200/month), book allowance, and other compulsory fees for studies after matriculation (10th grade).

Ministry of Minority Affairs
Eligibility: Class 1-10 students from minority communities with family income below ₹1 lakh
Amount: ₹1,000-₹5,700 per annum + admission & tuition fees

For students from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi communities studying in classes 1 to 10.
