About FAEA Scholarship

The Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA) provides scholarships to economically disadvantaged students from socially marginalized communities in India. The program aims to enable access to quality higher education.

FAEA scholarships cover undergraduate studies in Arts, Commerce, Sciences, Engineering, Medical, Law and other professional courses at recognized Indian institutions.

• Indian nationals belonging to socially disadvantaged communities (SC, ST, OBC, Minority or EWS categories)
• Family income less than ₹2.5 lakh per annum
• Passed Class 12 with minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST)
• Admitted to a full-time undergraduate program at a recognized Indian university/college
• Age below 25 years as on 1st July 2024

1. Visit the official FAEA application portal
2. Register with valid email and mobile number
3. Fill the online application form completely
4. Upload required documents:
   • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
   • Income certificate
   • Caste certificate (if applicable)
   • College admission proof
   • Passport size photo
5. Submit the application before deadline
6. Print the submitted form for your records

FAEA follows a rigorous selection process:

• Initial screening of applications
• Shortlisting based on academic merit and financial need
• Personal interview (in-person or online)
• Final selection by FAEA selection committee

Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.

Q: Can I apply if I’m already in college?

A: Yes, FAEA considers applications from first and second year undergraduate students as well.

Q: Is there any application fee?

A: No, FAEA does not charge any application fee. The process is completely free.

Q: When will I receive the scholarship amount?

A: Selected students receive the amount in two installments – at the beginning of each semester.
